Hong Kong Pan-democracts win landslide victory despite alleged Pro-Beijing camp's bribery of elderly votes. 0

Beijing has long tried to fabricate a narrative that the Pro-democracy protest lose the popular support of the Hong Kong people. On the surface, this seemed to make sense as the protest affected the daily lives of the citizens of Hong Kong.

But in a stunning exercise of support, the people of Hong Kong voted overwhelming for the Pro-democracy movement, flipping many of the seats once held by Beijing sympathizers.

Of the 4.1 million registered voters, 2.9 million turned out to vote. A 71% percent voting participation, the highest in Hong Kong's history.

This victory comes despite numerous allegation of bribery by pro-beijing camps, targeting elderly voters with gifts.
